Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd kept building on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. She went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her, winning the TKO in the second round. In her next fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for the performance of the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she had in any major capacity. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight with the fighters got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight, breaking her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
