The first Latina ever to create, produce and write her own program for a network. She began her life in Texas and later moved to Los Angeles, where she continued to pursue her profession. She has had guest appearances on shows such as Sons of Anarchy or General Hospital. Her writing credits include the TV Series Mind of Mencia. Also, she was the host of and featured in "The The View".
